About me

Hello, I'm İrfan Çalışır, a software engineer specializing in micro service based full stack application development with mainly on .NET and React. Currently, I am working at Intertech, leading financial IT company. With over 1 years of professional experience, I excel in managing complex projects and delivering innovative solutions. My passion for technology and continuous learning drives me to add value to every project I work on.

My job is to build/develop a module that it is functional and user-friendly but at the same time fast and reliable. Moreover, I use beneficial tools to build a reliable, fast and end-to-end solution. My field of business competence in software development is treasury products.

What i'm doing

Backend Development

Focusing on .NET development with Entity Framework, T-Sql, Rest API, xUnit and proficiency in common micro service development methodologies like SOLID, Unit Of Work, Repository Pattern, REST, OOP.
Frontend Development

Focusing on React with it's beneficial libraries or tools like TypeScript, Next.JS, Axios, React Router and Ant Design. I also have a experience in Asp.Net Framework.
DevOps - CI/CD

I have knowledge about CI/CD processes, DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and version control systems GIT/TFS.
Team and Others

I attach great importance to teamwork. I have knowledge and experience, especially in working with Agile methodologies. I can effectively use project management tools such as Jira to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Intertech - Software Engineering Intern

During my 3 month internship period, we developed an full stack android application based on credit cards and payments including business analyst, frontend and backend developer. I was in the backend team. After that short time I accepted in long term Intern program in Intertech. and I started my internship in my current team, the treasury team. I worked in Intertech that long-term remote internship for 8 months.
KCTEK - Software Engineering Intern

I did my internship at KCTEK, which serves in the education sector, as part of the compulsory internship for 2 months. During my internship, I developed a Full Stack web application on education.
Intertech - Software Engineer
Jan 2024 — Present
I work as a full stack software engineer in the treasury team of Intertech, which provides IT services and develops applications for many banks like Denizbank, Denizbank AG, Odeabank, HSBC, Dilerbank, Nurolbank etc. I provided exchange rate monitoring/trading services to frontend teams. Currently, I take an active role in the transformation of treasury products from a legacy structure to a microservice structure.

During the summer of 2022, I participated in a cultural exchange program called Work and Travel in the United States for 4 months to experience new cultures and make new friendships. I have contributed in various roles in the service sector and travelled a lot. It was lovely experience for me.
